About

I’m a reportage, documentary, and editorial photographer based in Cardiff and I’ve been working freelance since 2006. With over 12 years experience as a photographer I began shooting mainly landscapes and street photography, and later developed a passion for documentary style reportage projects. I’ve worked with various media forms, and am proficient working to specific editorial deadlines.

I have worked for organisations such as The GuardianBBC, John LewisWilkinson Sword, and Cardiff Life Magazine, as well as working on a personal documentary story about social and economic deprivation and regeneration in Butetown, Cardiff. More recent projects include a short documentary project on Cardiff Dogs Home, Cardiffs’ very own SWN festival, and the controversial Occupy Cardiff.

I provide web development and branding for small business owners through Ashmore Creative, and I’m also a reportage wedding photographer at sister site tomashmore.co.uk, servicing those looking for natural, non-contrived, unobtrusive wedding photographs for their wedding.

EnquireI’m currently available for documentary, press and editorial assignments.
